Our ride through the city lead us to abstract concrete forrest, which we just had to cross by every means even though we discovered later that it wasn't meant to be climbed or ridden through. So briefly: Berlin was pretty awesome!

Berlin
No thats not Berlin. Still we had the feeling we should -appropriate or not- include the fact that we are too heavy(or muscly) for slovakian toilets. But I promise the following will be more focused on longboarding. The city Berlin (big surprise) isn't really built for the downhill thrill seeking travellers. For the architecturally interested boarder on this tour it does compose a scenery for riding and a wee bit of dancing. The name Ludwig Mies van der Rohe needs to be mentioned at this place.

Jasna
After we were rippin the town of Ruzomberok we decided to do some speed tracks down the mountains. Our boarding was centered around the top ski resort of Slovakia-Jasna/Chopok.
Beware! This trip includes heaven like downhill slopes, gnarly roads, nasty slams and -hell yeah- nature (just to calm us down). We hope the filming of today turns out to be acceptable for a teaser (we have high expectancies but quite undeveloped filming skills whatsoever)
We resent abandoning these lovely places but we're pretty much fucked up anyway by now (even the 70 cent beer can't heal us anymore). =)

Ružomberok
This day we explored the city and abouts of Ruzomberok. Rough roads leading through the forest up the mountains and curvy streets through the town centre. The day seemed a little tough for both of us. While I left quite some skin on the concrete, Stephen slid forcefully under a car, so that the owner jumped out of the house and argued with us - the only word we understood was Poličia.

Longboard Trip through eastern Europe
Our first stop on our trip was the beauty of (eastern) Austria - Vienna, where we stopped for drinks and electricity (we both forgot our chargers). We dropped by some friends (if you know our way of planning, of course unannounced) rolled joyfully through the big city and tried to somehow reach our boat to Bratislava in time.
Instead (of course not deliberately) we had to decide to watch some boats pass by while having some nice beers at the Donau.
Thats the story how we arrived in Bratislava by train. Not knowing if we actually were in Bratislava or any other city call Petržalka we were directed by some locals to the city. The search for any accommodation was complicated by night time typical - dim light, fully booked hostels and pretty rough street conditions, which nearly killed my camera.
After that we of course enjoyed the Bratislava nightlife with some really cheap beers, a typical slovakian disco and an invitation to a fight with some kind of a slovakian-nazi-hooligan-skinhead (his own words)

After we were kicked out of our accommodation we travelled on to reach our planned longboard destination, the small town of Ruzomberok in midst the slovakian mountains. When you have seen the roads, you will agree - if the wheather is kind it is truly a longboarder's paradise.
